Bearing steel is special steel featuring high wear resistance and rolling fatigue strength. High-carbon chromium bearing steel, engineering steel and some types of stainless steel and heat resistant steel are used as materials of bearings and for other purposes.

Features of Bearing Steel
- High Hardness & Wear Resistance: Contains high carbon (0.95–1.10%) and chromium (1.3–1.6%) for extreme surface hardness (60–65 HRC) and resistance to abrasive wear in high-pressure environments.
- Exceptional Fatigue Strength: Optimized microstructure and alloy design (e.g., silicon, manganese) prevent crack initiation under cyclic loads, ensuring longevity in rotating applications.
- Controlled Purity & Uniformity: Ultra-low oxygen and sulfur content (<15 ppm) minimizes inclusions, while fine carbide distribution ensures consistent performance under stress.
